First Up Children

Ages: 3 years - 5th grade

Sunday School is in person with Miss Anne who has been with our church for almost 20 years, and is also the Director of the Early Childhood Center. Children will be checked in at the front of the Main Sanctuary, and participate in Bible lessons and fun activities.

Nursery Service (Sunday 9:30 & 11 AM)

Ages: 0-2 years old

Miss Dawn has worked in the First Methodist Church of Oviedo Nursery for over thirty years. She and her capable staff and volunteers are waiting with loving arms for your little one. Pagers are available for parents to be alerted if the child needs anything.

Is there a way for my children to remain with me during worship?

We love having children in our sanctuary during worship! If your child needs to release some energy, our Wiggle Room, located at the back of the main sanctuary, offers a fantastic space with a view of the service and plenty of fun activities for kids. It’s available for parents who feel their children might need a little extra engagement while attending worship.

Homeschool Club begins Tuesday, February 4th and will continue through the month of May.

• There will be a monthly tuition of $60 for materials & supplies. You may pay cash, or check (payable to FMCO), or can give electronically through our website FCOVIEDO.COM by clicking the "Give Now" button, and choosing Homeschool Club. 

• For families with more than one child, additional children after the first will receive a $20 discount ($40/month).

• Please pack a lunch, snack, and water bottle with your child!

• Each parent will need to choose ONE day during the month to stay and volunteer in our homeschool group.

First Up Children’s Night (6:30-8:00 PM)

Ages: 3 years - 5th Grade

For the next twelve weeks, Kalee Mendelson will guide kids through an exciting and engaging journey with the SIMPLY LOVED Series. Children will have fun creating crafts, singing songs, and memorizing new scripture verses, all while learning about the incredible Love of God. This series is designed to help kids understand God's love in a way that's both meaningful and fun!
