Zambia Fundraiser
Zambia Mission Trip - July 11 - July 25.
What we will be doing:
This summer, a team of six from First Methodist Church of Oviedo will travel to Zambia to partner with New Life Zambia in sharing the love of Christ through worship, teaching, and service.
During our time in Zambia, we will host a Kids' Bible Camp for 75 children, providing a fun and faith-filled experience centered on God's love. Pastor Brian will preach during Sunday worship, and our team will also help lead a special youth event following the service.
In addition, we will offer teaching and encouragement for pastors and church leaders, equipping them for ministry in their communities. The final part of our trip will focus on hands-on service as we help create mobility devices for individuals with disabilities, participate in a feeding program, paint facilities, and spend time interacting with preschool children.
How you can help:
We invite you to pray for our team, our ministry partners at New Life Zambia, and everyone we will have the privilege of serving. May God use this mission to strengthen His church and share His hope and love in Zambia.
Our hosts have invited us to partner with them by helping provide meals for those attending the Kids' Bible Camp and Adult Teaching Sessions. For just $10 per person, we can provide 2½ days of meals for one participant. Our goal is to provide food for 75 children and 25 adults, with a total fundraising goal of $1,000.
Will you prayerfully consider supporting this ministry? Your gift will help nourish both bodies and souls as we join our brothers and sisters in Zambia in sharing God's love and hope. To give online, click here: https://onrealm.org/FirstMethodistO/give/Zambia2026 . To give by check, indicate Zambia in the memo line. Thank you!

Daybreak Easter Service (8am) - Historic Sanctuary
Enjoy uplifting music, an inspiring message, and a peaceful start to your day in the Historic Sanctuary. Following the traditional order of worship, with a soloist or small ensemble to lead worship & minimal technology, this service will “remind you of the small town church you grew up in.”
Contemporary Easter Service** (9:30am) - Main Sanctuary
This service is located in our Main Sanctuary and is also available on our LiveStream (accessible through our website, as well as our YouTube channel). Experience a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere at our Contemporary Service. Enjoy modern worship with a live praise band, special vocalists, and an engaging message that resonates with today’s world.
Traditional Easter Service** (11am) - Main Sanctuary
Join us for a rich and uplifting worship experience at our Traditional Service. Enjoy hymns led by our talented vocalists, special musical performances, our beloved Chancel Choir, and a spirit-driven message from one of our pastors. This service is located in our Main Sanctuary and is also available on our LiveStream (accessible through our website, as well as our YouTube channel).
**Childcare available
Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to stay for each service that we offer, regardless of if we have Sunday School available. We love hearing your little ones in service, so please don’t feel awkward!
We do have a wiggle room available in the back of Main Sanctuary, located across from the women’s bathroom, if your littles feel like exploring (or if you need to use a changing station). But as we’re a FAMILY church - the wiggle room is a resource, NOT a requirement.
No matter the service you choose to attend, please be sure to check out the Easter Cross that we will have available outside for flowers & photos!
Open Communion
Join us in the Historic Sanctuary for a period of Open Communion. Take this time to reflect- the doors will be open & communion will be available.
