Adult Ministries at First Methodist Church of Oviedo exist to help adults grow in their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and live out their faith in everyday life. No matter your stage of life—young adult, parent, empty nester, or retiree—there is a place for you to connect, belong, and grow.
Through Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, service opportunities, and SOUL groups, our Adult Ministries provide spaces where people can deepen their faith, encourage one another, and serve both the church and our community.

Men’s Ministries
Encouraging men to grow as leaders, husbands, fathers, and followers of Christ through Bible studies, accountability, and fellowship.
Women’s Ministries
Creating opportunities for women to deepen their faith, build supportive friendships, and serve together through studies, circles, and mission opportunities.
Young Adult Ministries
A welcoming community for adults ages 18–early 30s to explore faith, ask questions, and build authentic Christ-centered friendships.
Senior Adult Ministries
Celebrating the joy and wisdom of life’s later seasons through fellowship, events, and spiritual growth opportunities for adults 55+.
SOUL Groups
Soul Groups are small gatherings where you can show up just as you are. They’re relaxed, open spaces for honest conversation, shared life, and growing in faith together—no pressure, no expectations. It’s simply about being present with one another, encouraging each other, and creating space to reflect, ask questions, and notice God in everyday life.

Groups & Classes
One of the best ways to grow in your faith and build lasting relationships is by joining a group or class. Throughout the year we offer a variety of studies, discussion groups, and learning opportunities that help people go deeper in God’s Word and apply it to daily life.
