“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”—John 13:34
Jesus did not just care for people’s earthly needs. He also cared for people's souls. His purpose in caring for others was to reflect His Father, bring Him glory, and turn hearts to Him. Jesus not only cared for people for their benefit alone but so they would love others the way they have been loved.

GriefShare is a caring, supportive group for anyone navigating the journey of grief. In this 13-week program, beginning Wednesday, August 5, you'll find encouragement, practical guidance, and the comfort of connecting with others who understand what you're experiencing. Together, we'll explore what to expect in the days ahead and discover that many of the emotions of grief are a normal part of the healing process.
Stephen Ministry is a Christian caregiving program that trains church members to provide confidential, one-on-one emotional and spiritual support to people facing challenges such as grief, divorce, job loss, or illness.
Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one, strictly confidential, care. They receive extensive training, before being matched with a care-receiver. The curriculum focuses on active listening, empathy, healthy boundaries, and providing a non-judgmental presence rather than trying to "fix" the problem.
The Caregivers Support Group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month in Jones Parlor from 11 AM until Noon. We welcome all caregivers as we share good ideas and tips to make caregiving a little easier, as well as care for each other.
