Our Patch is Volunteer-run! We Couldn’t Do it without you!
The Patch runs smoothly thanks to our dedicated volunteers who come together to serve and extend the radical hospitality of First Methodist Church of Oviedo. If you’d like to volunteer in the Patch, simply click the button below to register. After registering, you’ll be directed to SignUp Genius where you can select your shift(s). Sign up to volunteer now!
To help you feel confident and prepared, we’ve put together a short video that walks through the ins and outs of the Patch—from opening to closing—so your shift runs with ease. Trunk or Treat
Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat!
6pm-7:30pm in the paved lot near the playground. We will have bounce houses, an open playground, and our "spooky spider walk" again this year!
Candy is first come first served.
Interested in hosting a trunk? Signup now!
We are also collecting food for our food pantry!
Please bring an item with you to Trunk or Treat!
Items needed:
Canned proteins (chicken, tuna, ham)
Peanut butter
Jelly
Protein cereal bars
Box rice
Boxed pasta
Canned pasta sauce
Pancake Mix
Zero sugar syrup
Zero sugar Jell-O and pudding
Cereal (any kind)
Kid-friendly snacks
Please no glass jars.
Great Day in the Country Volunteers
Saturday November 14th from 9am-4pm First Methodist Church of Oviedo will have a TENT at Great Day in the Country! Angela Relyea is leading this effort.
Great Day is hosted by Oviedo Women's Club at the Oviedo Mall.
We need a few helpers! If you are already there to shop then stop by and hang out with us for an hour!! We will have chairs and we will be giving out fans and answering questions people have about our church.
We would appreciate some YOUTH helpers too! This is such a fun farmers market type atmosphere you will have a great time!
If you come to help, please wear a church shirt (we can get you one if you don't have one), Bring a water.

Day of Hope - Residing Hope Tour
Join us on February 21 at 10:00 AM to experience the ministry of Residing Hope, one of our core mission partners. Come be a part of worship, mini service projects, seminars, lunch, tours and more! All ages are welcomed and encouraged to attend! Golf carts are available for those with mobility challenges. RSVP by completing this Realm registration by 2/10!

Breakout Sessions:
Seating is limited and an RSVP is required.
These educational breakout sessions are available to showcase our services, and help you better understand what we do at Residing Hope. There will be two rounds of breakout sessions this year, the first at 10:30 and the second at 11:15. Each guest will only be able to attend one session per round.
When you register on Realm, please choose which breakout session you want to attend so we can give them our complete RSVP information.

Christmas Musical
Join us at the 9:30am & 11am services for the showcasing of our Christmas Musical “A New and Glorious Morn” that our Chancel Choir & Tim Conyers have worked so hard to prepare for!
Breakfast with Santa
Come join us for breakfast, crafts and Santa Meet and Greet!
This is such a sweet event!We have a pancake breakfast (donated by Townhouse), crafts, story time, scavenger hunt, carolers, and a special meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus! All proceeds go to missions for women and children!
Under 2 years old is free.

The Patch is open from 3-5pm, 5-7pm during the weekdays, and from 12-8pm on weekends. Shifts are 2 hours, and families with children are welcome to sign up. We already have some youth volunteers signed up, we need the adults to be there to supervise!
REMEMBER: Proceeds from the patch go towards our Youth!!!
Pumpkin Unloading
🚜🎃 Pumpkins are coming! We need your help unloading and setting up the patch on October 11 at 2 PM. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring with you a water bottle and your muscles!!!
