Pumpkin Patch Volunteer Signup
The Patch runs smoothly thanks to our dedicated volunteers who come together to serve and extend the radical hospitality of First Methodist Church of Oviedo. If you’d like to volunteer in the Patch, register on our signup link here
The Patch is open from 3-5pm, 5-7pm during the weekdays, and from 12-8pm on weekends. Shifts are 2 hours, and families with children are welcome to sign up. We already have some youth volunteers signed up, we need the adults to be there to supervise!
REMEMBER: Proceeds from the patch go towards our Youth!!!
Veteran's Day Luncheon - Military Support Team
Join us for a luncheon hosted by our Military Support Team to honor our Veteran’s on Veteran’s Day. Lunch will begin at 12pm, and will be catered by Mission BBQ.

Christmas Musical
Join us at the 9:30am & 11am services for the showcasing of our Christmas Musical “A New and Glorious Morn” that our Chancel Choir & Tim Conyers have worked so hard to prepare for!
Palm Valley Workday
Join us for a church work day in Palm Valley. We will be doing landscaping. Volunteers should meet at the Clubhouse at 8:45 AM. Please bring gloves and any landscaping tools you would like to use (rakes, weed eaters, edgers, ladders.) If interested, please email Jane at facilities@fmcoviedo.net
Serving Opportunity: Residing Hope
Join us for a serving opportunity with Residing Hope Children’s Home. Help by serving to the kids, eating dinner with them, and play board games.

Serving Opportunity: OURM Mens Dinner
Serve at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission
We have a wonderful opportunity to show Christ’s love in a practical way by serving dinner to the men at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. We go every month, but volunteers are welcome to serve as often as their schedule allows—you don’t have to commit to every month. We are looking for volunteers to help with two important roles:
Serving dinner – helping prepare and serve the evening meal.
Connecting with the men – sitting down, listening, and offering encouragement and fellowship.
Your presence can make a real difference! Whether through a warm meal or a kind conversation, you can help shine the light of Jesus in someone’s life.
When: 3rd Thursdays, monthly

VBS 2025
Get ready for an unforgettable week of fun, learning, and spiritual growth at GO! VBS 2025! This year, we're diving deep into the power of the Holy Spirit and how it empowers us to live boldly in faith.
What to Expect:
Exciting Bible lessons that inspire and teach about God's love and power.
Fun activities and games that reinforce the message of the week.
Worship and prayer to connect with God in a meaningful way.
A chance to make lifelong friendships and create lasting memories.
This event is open to children of all ages, and we’re also inviting students (grades 6-12) and adults to volunteer and be part of the action. It’s a great way to serve and make a difference in the lives of our kids!

Membership Sunday

Come join us in the Fellowship Hall for a pre-game Super Bowl Tailgate party. Hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and snacks will be provided. There will be tailgate type activities for everyone to play.

Fourth Sunday Fellowship
Join us in the Family Room/Welcome Center between the 9:30 AM and 11 AM services as we fellowship together with some treats from the United Methodist Men!
Baptism Sunday
On Pentecost Sunday (May 28), we will be celebrating baptisms and renewal of baptisms during our worship services. If you would like to participate in this special ceremony by immersion or sprinkling, please contact the church office to set up an appointment with one of the pastors.
Family Mini-Golf Tournament
The Men's Ministry is holding a family mini-golf tournament! Bring your family to Tee It Up Golf for delicious food and drinks. CHANCE TO WIN PRIZES!
Church Movie Night
Everyone is invited to a family movie night in Fellowship Hall featuring “Running the Bases.” This is about a man of faith who faces extreme opposition to his coaching methods when he accepts a job at a larger school. We will have hot dogs, snacks and drinks. The event is FREE!
